Oliver Jack moved into sixth place in Louisiana track and field history in the men's hammer on Friday night at the ULM Warhawk Classic in Monroe, Louisiana.

Jack took fourth place overall with his throw of 185-8, his fifth of six throws, also becoming a personal best for the junior. Montrell Morris placed third in the long jump for Louisiana with a jump of 23-0 on his second attempt. Joshua Mason was behind him in ninth at 21-5.25. Reem Tammam also competed for the Cajuns, finishing ninth in the long jump at 18-0.5.

The Cajuns are back at it tomorrow with a full slate of events at the Warhawk Classic beginning at 10:30 a.m.
