Looks like some SEC/P4 teams oversigned then are dumping scholarships not in their 2 deep after spring practices.
Nearly all are at 25+ outgoing now. Numerous teams are well over 30.

Two ways to look at that. Either:
1- We have a great culture and a program that our talent wants to be a part of and can't be swayed away unless some really big dollars come calling.
OR
2- Our talent wouldn't be wanted by too many good FBS programs.
Really want and hope #1 is the answer.
always an optimist is the group
As I understand it, college scholarships are actually for one year, and are ‘renewed’ every year. So, at the end of Spring these programs can just not renew scholarships and be within the current limits.
I’m sure someone will correct if I have it wrong.
If all the fall players are still on scholarship in spring, until not renewed after spring game, how were all the early enrollees in january also on scholarship, without going over?
Years ago when early enrollment first started thought you had to pay your own way to start early
I don’t know the answer to this. I just knew about yearly scholarships because Saban and the SEC would over sign HS kids before not renewing scholarships, which led to the NCAA limiting signing class size.
