The Cajuns had their resolve tested and their leaders responded. Hats off to Herrmann for a very impressive outing on the hill against this USM team. Debo comes up clutch and the batters did their job setting the table for him in the 8th ... and LP ... what can you say about LP? That fastball at 96 with 10 -> 12 inches of run (when he wants it)? As nasty as I have seen this season ... and I watch a lot of college ball. He did not need a secondary pitch tonight.

So many people want to doubt the fight of this team. We feasted on the bottom half of the league, now we are playing better teams and people think it should be easy? It is going to be a battle here on out, but this team will not throw in the towel.
