One game at a time. Win the Sun Belt regular season and we will get an at large bid. That's all that matters at this point. End of story.

SBC conference rank essentially now tied for 4th through 7th with Big 10 and Big East as well as Pac 12...

Not sure how this finishing over the next few weeks will impact things as far as number of bids the SBC gets...

Brian - when was the last time a SBC regular season champ was left out of the Tournament?

Houston Christian and rice are basically the same opponent this year.
    Rice 15-25 rpi 213
    HCU 15-25 rpi 214

    Let’s get over it.

We have a formidable opponent coming to town this weekend.

If we fester over last nights result, it may repeat itself.

I don’t think a 2 seed is out of the question. We may have solidified a 2 at aTm or Arkansas rather than a 2 at Clemson though.

I certainly won’t claim to know more about baseball than you.

I am simply going to disagree and say I still think this is the deepest staff UL has had that I can remember. And every pitcher is going to have a bad outing from time to time.

It’s baseball. We will be fine.

So everyone was wrong who presented to you 40 games worth of numbers, they get hit by coastal (everyone does) and drop a midweek and now you are like I told y’all so? Over a 60 game season if you keep saying something is awful, you will eventually be Right.

I can suggest several games during that 40 game of why I would disagree. I guess we just have to wait and see over the next 20.

Yeah I’d say looking at it over 60 Games would probably be a better gauge than just when we play bad.

It’s been a rough couple of days for the conference as a whole.

Coastal got swept in two games at Creighton (who is very good, but they needed to win one of those), Georgia St lost to Presbyterian College, Georgia Southern lost to Mercer, ULM lost to Little Rock, and stAte lost to Central Arkansas…along with last night’s Cajun debacle

The SBC has dropped to #5 in the conference RPI rankings as a result
