Cajuns lead 6-2 in the top of the 3rd
Davis with a lead-off triple (scored a run) and 2 x RBI single in the bottom of first.
How does LSU get to put someone on our broadcast? I am kidding but she's giving more praise to BR than she has to the cajuns.
Back to back jacks by Brooke Ellestad and Alexa Langeliers makes it 8-2 in the bottom of the 4th
Alexa’s brother, Shea, plays for the Oakland A’s and hit a home run tonight as well, almost at the same time as Alexa. I can’t even begin to imagine how proud their parents must be.
More pee and panurple folks here than for their home games.
Kelley Lynch, the LSU pitcher that just departed in the B4th (second pitcher of the night for LSU), threw a complete game 5-hit shutout of #4 Tennessee in Knoxville on Saturday ... their only win of the series. Sydney Berzon earned the loss in both the Friday and Sunday games (both 3-0 Tennessee wins).
Lynch also shutout Auburn the prior weekend 2-0 ... again, LSU's only win of the series. Lynch had been on fire until tonight.
Two runs in the B5th and the Cajuns can mercy rule the Tiggas.

Honestly i think LSU is not use to playing in Louisiana and having such a big crowd against them. I love we have create this environment at UL.
Davis almost made a spectacular catch over the centerfield fence but couldn’t hold on. Tigers get 2 back. 9-4 Cajuns
