I would have thought he would end up at a more prestigious institution with more NIL money. Going to stAte is a big surprise to me. A lateral move for a guy with the game to take a step up. Unless his injury history kept people away.

I’d love to hear Marlin’s take on this transfer to Arkansas State and Joe Charles to McNeese. Transferring is one thing, but transferring to Arkansas State & McNeese is a whole new level into the bowels of despair! The players apparently have a better handle on the status of the program than the Coaches, AD and administration do. It looks like dropping my basketball season tickets a couple of years ago, after having them for decades was a smart move on my part!
Wake me up when we infuse new life in the basketball program. Until then, I’ll just try to continue supporting Football and the Diamond sports! Hopefully those coaches and teams don’t give me reason to give up on them as well.

Sad overall. The kid grew up here. And we paid the medical bills and stuck with him. I’m old and just don’t understand all this. Really thinking of just moving all to academics. This is nuts.

We have two former players coming to the dome next year. CF isn’t the only thing demolished in the athletic department.

I started attending USL basketball with my father in the late 1950’s. I’ve had season tickets in my name since the 1976 season. I had them the last two years because my wife wanted to continue. But now I’m done… until Marlin is gone. Shame on the AD for allowing this to happen.

Don't think it can get much lower. This is pretty much rock bottom. Other than the death penalty back in the 70's for doing NIL decades earlier!
