Monday Morning Quarterback
After letting emotions settle, the sky is definitely not falling with our ball club. What you saw this past weekend was the two best teams in the belt duking it out and coming down to the last out in the rubber match. We still sit atop the standings by 4 games with the most difficult series behind us. I believe that if that series is at the Tigue, we take at least 2/3. Coastal is no slouch and has a team built for that ballpark. The blessing in my opinion comes in two ways. One, the extremely long shot of hosting is out the window. Not sure we were going to host regardless of how we finished anyway. Two, a little humble pie never hurt anyone. Time to bounce back and get on track. Get in and get hot. Everyone's record on May 31st is 0-0.
