Good job Cajuns!
Excellent sweep. Moved up 1 spot to #16 in RPI also.
5-0 week next week could be great for us.
Our RPI rank as of Friday morning was 15. So far this weekend [not counting conference games between schools that we played both teams] our opponents record is 26-12, and I expect a similar rate of success for them today. With our Sweep of USM and the good results of our opponents, our raw RPI score should rise. Auburn lost to Kentucky yesterday, so we may pass them, but we may be passed by Florida State, depending on the outcome of their game with Boston College today. We will not pass UCLA as they have beaten Stanford twice this weekend, which both hurts us and helps them.
You are correct about the positive movement should we go 5-0 this coming week. If nothing else, that record would give us another victory over a top 25 team and one over a top 50 team if McNeese can stay in that group [currently their RPI is 49],along with a sweep of a 28-20 ULM team with an RPI of 91.
