By premium experience do they mean Neaux Sodexo??!

This is definitely a good move! IMO, this is also a small-scale test of life without Sodexo or any other of those companies. I have always been an advocate for local food vendors having a chance at UL events. We had some at the old Tigue and that worked well.

This is a big chance to improve the environment!

Wow. This is very good news.

It has been in the works for a while but needed to be kept quite. Should be a lot of things regarding concessions that everyone will like. Even those areas where Sodexo still runs it.

It is still an uphill battle to get better for all the venues. Not because the University doesn't want too but the options are limited. I've mentioned it before but very few companies have the capabilities to run something like this and the University isn't going to coordinate dozens of separate contracts for food and beverage.

Yes, more than likely. It's fairly common to have different food source for premium areas, unless your food and beverage contractor can provide gourmet options. If they don't, assuming that Sodexo doesn't, then you can either use whoever the university contracts for upscale events or contract them out for athletics only which means they may also start catering for baseball club and suites area too.

I'm not sure who does or did La State's concession food and beverage, but in the late 2000's early 2010's, they used Drakes Catering for all their premium spaces at football and baseball. I'm sure it's set up very similar to that structure.

You are correct it is for club seat holders.
