I love the idea of planting more in the open space. But still disagree with removing the one around the stadium. Now, if it interferes with construction, of course.

Leave the two that book end the stadium. Take the ones that block the view out.

Agree, leave what is there. BTW, some were removed under cover of darkness because they interfered with construction.

Most definitely. And I’m ok with that. Much more will have to be taken out when they start the construction of the East side press box. More than was taken out of the West side if I’m not mistaken.

Is that red neon lighting around the top? If so that is going to look nice.! I thought the idea of putting neon lighting around the baseball field would look nice. Also, they really need to get rid of the trees in the front and just landscape. JMO.

Why do you think that? You don’t think a 60 million dollar project that you cannot see from the road is a good idea?

My one big complaint about the new stadium is that they removed too many seats on the West side which is where most fans want to sit because of the shade and sight lines.

But then Memphis just said "hold my beer. Let's remove almost all the seats, replace it with a huge void, and add suites 60 yards away from the field." This has to be the stupidest stadium "upgrade" I've ever seen.

If you look at the pic from end zone to end zone I don’t think you are losing that many seats on the west side. 5 new chair back sections and probably equal seating with aluminum bleachers on both sides of chair backs in the lower bowl. Then right above that you have 34 suites, 40 loge boxes, and 524 club seats. You will have around 1400 seats with combined priority seating that is already all sold out. I sat in the upper deck in UF since 1996. I can assure you most games didn't have 1400 in the upper deck.

Perfect size and mix IMO.
