Is the opposite true. Some people are so negative they cant see a rainbow every now and then?
I feel like people had been saying that for a while...Did anyone ever report this outside of the board? Was there a public study?
Mostly agree. But I would argue that the prices dont match demand, not value. I think value is what you make it. Some people love UL athletics so much they can pay that, regardless of opponents and competition. But overall, competition is relative.
Baseball, Softball and Track is all positive. There may be some complaints, but as a whole the spring sports are light years ahead of the fall sports. Once the baseball clubhouse is complete we will be set.
It’s football under achieving after a lackluster hire (I’m in the Desormeaux camp). Basketball is a dead program.
Did I miss something? Are those the only seats available, or are there options throughout the stadium with different price levels so that everyone willOriginally Posted by cajun4life;

Are you saying they shouldn’t offer a premium area for a higher price for those willing and able to pay a higher price and still have areas for the “blue collar” fans you speak of?
I can’t afford the price you mentioned above, but if someone can and wants to pay for it, I don’t see the issue.
I’ve had discussions with many folks regarding this and general consensus is that when making the plans for this renovation, the powers that be totally screwed the pooch when it comes to the UD season ticket holders. While most understand the need for revenue utilizing suites and club areas, there should have been an area in the new structure that was not “premium”. That way you can cater to your long time season ticket holders in the UD while offering something similar to what they had before but not with the premium amenities. Sometimes the things that make the most sense seem to escape this administration….
I agree we have a blue collar fan base. However I don’t think anyone is trying to replace them. There will still be plenty good seats in the lower bowl area at reasonable prices to accommodate them. I think the new club and suite area will have a chance to attract a caliber of fan we never had before. The fan that doesn’t want to sit in stadium seats and fight long restroom lines, beer lines and $h!++y confession stand food lines. The fan that likes the more luxurious things in a stadium experience, OLOL stadium will now have something to offer. Cajun field has NEVER catered to them. This stadium has a chance to develop a whole new fan base IMO.
