Walks from the Cajun pitchers really hurt last night. A couple of bobbled balls also didn't help. With Berzon being so dependent on the drop ball, I didn't see the Cajun batters making the adjustment to move up in the box so as to try and negate the effect of those pitches. Also, LSU only needed was Pleasants in the infield last night. 2nd and 3rd base could have stayed in the dugout. She literally had 15 putouts by herself last night fielding the week dribblers the Cajuns hit to her from the drop balls Berzon was throwing.
