Louisiana college sports venues could soon be forced to accept cash

Good for these legislators. Anyone who sees this as just a bill about sporting events is crazy. Our government has slowly been trying to make us a cashless society one step at a time. The more you do electronically the more they can monitor you. The big picture here is down the road little Johnny wont be able to pick up 4 or 5 yards in neighborhood and put 40 bucks a pop in his pocket. My friend Joe Blow who works for EP Breaux won't be able to come change my light fixture on Saturday for some side cash money. Or a guy who works as a plumber at Vermillion Parish school board won't be able to change out a neighbors toilet for some cash on Saturday. This is all about a trail and government knowing every penny you spend and every cent you earn.

Also, the mafia.. i mean the banks want their 4% going and coming on every single transaction. We are reducing the value of our money by 4% every time we swipe a card and magnifying inflation. A $100 bill is always worth a $100.

This is what I was thinking. Allowing you to go cash allows you to avoid the stupid CC fees. Why they wouldn't allow this only points out to more convenience for the venue but more money out of pocket for the consumer.
