He’s thrown on Saturday all year (the last 5 weeks since he became a starter)

And while he’s 2-0 with a 1.68 ERA, Marshall is 3-6 in the 9 games he’s appeared in (5 starts). He threw gems against S. Miss and Tex St, a solid start against Ark. St. and got lit up by App State. His other start was a pretty solid outing against SE Missouri St.

Ironically, he also appeared in 9 games last year. And was also 2-0….but with a 9.58 ERA

Crowd was super light for first pitch. Didn’t really realize how much it had filled up until the crowd exploded at the umpire in the 7th.

Concessions man. What are we doing? You want to fill the other 1,500-2,000 seats? Make it a reasonable, convenient place to bring your family.

Today, IMHO, is a big game. Lock up the series today. They have their best arm. We need to make him throw extra pitches and match them on the mound and find a way to manufacture a run or 2. Hopefully, the final score will be similar to last night. Expecting a low scoring game.

Can we talk about Trey Lafleur? That dude (even injured) is more athletic than most college baseball players. He got WAY up off the ground for that snag at first last night.

That was amazing, especially considering he appeared to have injured himself on the bases in the bottom of the previous inning.
