Tickets packages and single-game tickets for the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Softball Championship will go on sale at 12:00 p.m. CT on Friday, April 12. The 10-team tournament will be held at Bobcat Softball Stadium in San Marcos, Texas from Wednesday, May 8 to Saturday, May 11.

All-session passes, as well as single-game tickets, at Bobcat Softball Stadium will be available through the TXST Athletics Ticket Office, with prices starting at $15. Additional fees may apply.

The single-elimination tournament will begin on Wednesday, May 8 with a pair of first round matchups, followed by four quarterfinal games on Thursday, May 9 and two semifinal contests on Friday, May 10. The championship game is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, May 11, and will determine the Sun Belt Conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

The Sun Belt Conference currently boasts the No. 7 RPI in the nation – trailing only the SEC, Big 12, Pac-12, ACC, Big Ten, and AAC - and has seven teams featured in the Top 100 of the RPI heading into the fifth weekend of league action.

Louisiana, the Sun Belt Conference preseason favorite, is coming off its 24th consecutive 40-win season and NCAA tournament appearance. The Ragin' Cajuns are the four-time regular season and tournament champions and currently rank No. 21 in the ESPN / USA Softball Collegiate Top 25. They are joined by Texas State at No. 22. The two Top 25 ranked squads in the Sun Belt will have a chance to go head-to-head this weekend with Louisiana making the trip to San Marcos for the three-game series starting on Friday.
