After Coastal plated a run in the T1st, Wake Forest proceeded to unleash back-to-back HRs, followed by a walk and another HR off of Meckley. Wake leads 5-1 after 1.

Especially in the way that they won the game late ... clutch two-out hitting in the 8th (plating three two-out runs on a double and a single) ... and clutch pitching (Bama runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out in the B8th ... did not score). This is how South Alabama typically Gaguars the game late against Alabama. First win against Bama since 2016 (was 7 consecutive losses).
