They’ve lost 11 of 12. And the last 4 all by 1 run.

ULM effect…Warren Nolan RPI drops to 50 this evening.

ULM contributions actually had a modest positive impact to RPI this weekend. It is Cajun opponents that brought it down slightly, combined with a few teams ranked around the Cajuns moving up. The Cajuns will get some of this back when they play Troy and Coastal … meanwhile, Marshall will not sting as much as it could have.

There were others (OOC) that hurt as well. But keep winning and it will take care of itself.

Hardball's longest win streaks are 17 games, in 2000 (CWS) and 2014 (finished regular season ranked #1 in one of the polls, hosted Super Regional).

Addendum: and in 2014, we were the #6 national seed.
