How is the UL womens team?
I’d do a package deal and fire Marlin and Brodhead at the same time.
No. They are just not very good and have little to no history of success. It feels like they just fly under the scrutiny radar because it’s WBB. Not dumping on them. Certainly want them to succeed.
A couple of WBI championships, 1 trip to the WNIT where they got punished and no tournament championships or NCAA appearances under Broadhead.
The funny this is the they have better “name” wins than MBB by beating Ole Miss and Arkansas I think it was like 8 years ago.
Both programs fly in the face of Maggard’s minimum for contract extension, or even fulfillment. Neither have seriously challenged for regular season, or post season championships on a consistent basis.
Bottom line, pay no attention to Maggard public hype about coach expectations. Don’t be surprised if CMD is not held to those high expectations going into his fourth season.
Meanwhile, it’s being reported that Kim Caldwell, Marshall, is possibly headed to Tennessee.
Worse thing Nixon ever did was sign Title 9.

It is only used as an excuse. They dont really follow it anyhow, see womens final that although was hyped up got a non prime time time slot and they had less days rest between round of 8 and final 4
"Geno needs a raise to help title 9"- signed media
