BB G3 Final: Louisiana 7, Texas State 6

So many baseball experts on this board. A 3 page thread so far after a road sweep of a damn good team. If we get swept or go 1-2 there’s 12-14 pages already dogging players, coaches and the bus driver. This team is 20-8. Enjoy the good times. It’s baseball and those good times only last so long. We’ll be humbled again and have to climb back out the hole a few more times before the end of this season. But some of you know better. Congrats to the players, coaches for one hell of a weekend.

I just looked again. We've gone through 6 pitchers and now throwing the same one we through 2 days ago.

Used 5 guys the first 2 days. And 5 more today through 8 innings.

And they allowed 8 runs…total, before giving up 3 in the last inning (they needed 4). Not to mention a guy that has started every weekend this season was out and didn’t pitch at all.

Using 10 different pitchers to hold that team, in that park, with those conditions, to 11 runs in 3 games SCREAMS great pitching depth. And again, without one of your weekend starters.

Wasn’t able to listen or watch yesterday until the 8th. Just followed on live stats and was content winning the series. Txst was bound to get one. Then the Cajuns got the big hits in the 8th. Glad the team was not satisfied with just 2.
