Ahead by one run, Mullins just lost in the bottom of the seventh by giving up three hits in a row, leading to two runs, to South Alabama. She has thrown more innings than any pitcher in all of division one softball. It seems she tired out at the end of that game.

Isn’t that usually their problem? They ride one pitcher (like Rupp and Mullins) all year and the innings catch up to them later?

She also had 3 put outs, one ball she grabbed with her bare hand and thru to first and got the out. Sam maybe needs to be the closer.

Once Sam gets in a groove, she never seems to lose it.

Agree. I watched the replay and they needed to pull her in the 7th. She's tough but you can't let a good team see so much of your pitching reportire. And yes, she looked tired.

RF has been a revolving door the last week with Credeur, Faltermann, Williams and Graeter all seeing time.

I agree it is a little surprising that Sophie isn't seeing time as a DP, and being upset shouldn't surprise anyone that knows how much of a competitor she is.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think that Glasco recruits TOO much position talent. There just isn't enough ABs for more than 13 or 14 hitters, at most.

Add to that, that new comers like Roe and Ellestad come in and beat out and replace Seniors like Campbell and Piskos, how does that not rub you the wrong way as a player. Not saying we aren't a more talented team, but worry about team chemistry for sure.

The school, to my knowledge has yet to announce that Jordyn is gone. We know because of her post on social media. I don’t think that I saw Sophie at all in any video in Boone.
