Very interesting to say the least. If true, this should make decisions a lot easier....for some.

Did that dude recently get hired by The Onion or Babylon Bee?

I’d believe that he may use the Rice job to get more money or years, but I don’t think there is a chance in hell that Rice hires him.

But who are they going hire? I can find zero about potential candidates. No one wants that job.

    1. If our administration does not call this obvious bluff, they are the dumbest people on planet Earth.
    2. If somehow hell does freeze over and Marlin leaves, I will celebrate in the streets.

If this is true and he doesn't want to be here, then bye.

No coach is bigger than the program.

I don’t pretend to know anything about college basketball but while at Tech their AD tended to hire younger coaches with upside.

Well then I hope we learned our lesson from the Hud-Tulane thing.

At least with Hud, it could be justified because he was, at that time, putting butts in the seats.

If Bob goes to Rice, do the Rebounder’s Club folks go with him?

Couple questions about the admin. We complain about the admin because they are terrible. But who are they and who is in charge of them? It seems Maggard can't do right for the athletic department because of them. Is it Dr. Savoie who has to make changes to the admin? Does he want to? Is he willing?

His time at Tech was a mixed bag. Tommy hired a 37-year-old basketball coach and a 53-year-old football coach. He never hired a prominent coach at McNeese.
