A couple of days ago SEC commissioner Greg Sankey was advocating for taking away automatic tourney bids from smaller conferences to allow more bids for the top end conferences as his contention was the smaller conference teams could not compete. SEC starts the tournament 0-3 with all 3 losing SEC teams having better seeds.
