Marshall was one of top teams in league just a year ago. They lost two top players from that team to portal. That included an all conference guard and a center who was freshman of year. No wonder they slipped some this season.

The 76-year-old D'Antoni took over in 2014, took the Herd to the NCAA tourney in 2018.

Assistant and alum Cornelius Jackson will take over for D'Antoni.
