I didn’t read the article and can tell you what the problem is and that I said this years ago:

NIL is only re-directing previous dedicated funds to the athletic program to the players. There’s no “extra” money being found to pay the players.

We all kind of knew it. For a SEC school to shelve an “arms race project”, dang.

UL probably had no choice but to proceed with the stadium since know structural issues became public, hence liability.
