I don't understand why Glasco scheduled this trip. It does us virtually no good by making a long road trip to play 2 bad teams.

After beating #1 after 71 they don't need to prove anything to anybody so this is the perfect time to work on fundamentals.

You are right..makes no sense this isn’t at home. They needed to dial schedule back considering the last 3 weekends, but why go on the road again?

Only thing I can guess is somebody else was coming he wanted to play, and it didn’t work out. Central Arkansas was very good last year, but it was due primarily to a stud pitcher Glasco likely knew wouldn’t be back this season.

Agreed, but the tournament should have been here.

Yeah, it's not great this year. Last year Central Arkansas finished #17 in RPI. If they were an SEC team, they may have jumped someone else (like us @ #10) into a host spot.

If you listened to Coach Glasco he stated he is building up relationships with other top mid majors. Look for Centrak Arkansas to come to Lamson in the future. Coach Glasco didn't know that Centrals star pitcher would transfer to Alabama.

Makes sense..he just picked the wrong year to do this. A schedule can make or break a team, and Glasco is likely second-guessing himself on some scheduling decisions this year.

With that said, hope to see team build off last Sunday. Lot of things to improve on, but they have the talent to make a run.

Riassetto not looking sharp so far against Central Arkansas. Maybe a letdown after the OU win.
