Bullpen gave up 8 ER in 3 innings. 6-7 so far and the grip is loosening. We will probably rebound at home, but we are consistently inconsistent, like college baseball teams often are.

Win next 2 and have a 3-1 week everything is great. Crazy how baseball is. Lose another it is very bad very bad.
We gave up 7,5,13,11 in 4 of our last 5. Before that we gave up around 3 a game
Someone please tell me I misheard this. I tune in after the game and Topham was saying it was a quick conversation as Deggs was ____ed. I’m like, “as he should be.” Then I thought I heard Topham say Deggs mentioned “the first 2 runs and wet ball and look how big those runs ended up being.” PLEASE tell me I just misheard that. Look. I get it. We absolutely got the short end of the stick with the start of that game, but Deggs could not have just seen what I did and THAT was his takeaway. We recovered from that lead, had the game handed to us with a bow on it and gave it back like it was a hot potato.
11 free bases plus the 2 errors. How many runs did Tulane score? My opinion, this is no longer a small sample size.
Embarrassing
That was a tough one to defend. Two guys that have been really good in the pen completely melted down.
And your best player, and preseason conference player of the year, had an absolute disaster game defensively.
That was as ugly a loss as I’ve seen in quite a while.
You’re not beating anybody walking 6, hitting 5, and kicking/throwing the baseball around like we saw tonight.
These next 2 games will say a lot about what this team will be.
