Spencer Arrighetti of the @astros is the first rookie in American League history to have 12+ strikeouts in back-to-back starts.

Astros bats finally with some support. Nice win for SA, he needed that.

Arrighetti is getting knocked around by the lowly White Sox. 3-0 still pitching, top of third. Pulled after 5.2, down 4-1, one runner on. Have up 2 dingers, 7 hits, 2 BB, 5k’s. Letdown after two double digit K games.

Sox play .300 baseball here out, the Mets’ record is safe.

Astros should do better, Crochet pulled for Chicago, pretty much their best arm.

Astros fall 5-4. SA gets the loss.

When you don't know if or when you will have run support it puts more pressure on the pitcher. SA will be fine get him some run support early.

Arrighetti dealing on Fox network. Up 2-0 on the O’s in Baltimore end of 4. 3 hits, 3 Ks, 1 walk.

Curve ball is working well tonight. 6-0 thru 6. 6 Ks, 94 pitches. Said his spin rate hit 3k plus (forgot exact number).

Pulls his ERA back under 5.

Related, Seattle fires their manager. Gone from +10 lead to -5 in standings.

Thought I heard 3,090. MLB average is 2,600.

Great performance by Spencer A. and since it was on Fox I got to see it. Astros win 6-0.

Harris back in Oakland via 40 man roster. Not scheduled to start in the next 5 games and schedule shows rotation rolls over Sunday. A’s, Angels and Rangers battling for standings finish with ~31 games to go.

Spenser scheduled for Wednesday vs Phillies.

And the Deadsox still chasing baseball “mortality” and the ‘62 Mets. They have to play .323 baseball or better to get 41 wins as of today (play Detroit tonight).

Harris got 2 innings of relief work; 1 H, 1 BB. Brought his MLB ERA down to 2.88. Reds win 10-9.

And White Sox are still pursing history, midst of a 0-7 home stand.

As a Reds fan, was shocked to see them score 9 runs in the 1st tonight. Unfortunately it came against Arrighetti. Didn’t see that coming.

The Reds are absolutely pathetic right now too.

ESPN analytics had the Reds as a solid pick, they see something we both missed.

9 earned and pulled with 2 outs in first. That will jack up the ERA in a hurry.

You know the old saying, “that’s baseball”. FWIW, it’s like the White Sox being up on Baltimore 6-1 right now. Makes no sense.
