Poll Nominate Bob Marlin's Biggest Win

Has Bob Marlin in his 14 years here ever beat a top 25 team?

Can we stick to the topic? Move this over to the I Hate Bob thread please...

Bob has done a lot for this program and some of you are not grateful! You guys will miss him when he is gone!

Georgia State in the conference finals in 2014. The get the nod because they were a better team than....
South Alabama in the conference finals in 2023.
La Tech 2014. They won the CUSA regular season and advanced deep into the NIT.
WKU in the 2014 conference tournament. Had to win that to get to the finals.
Iowa in 2017. The Hawkeyes went 14-19 overall and finished 12 out of 13 in the B10. Only "p5" win, though.

I know this is sarcasm, but I’ll miss the excuses that for sure. Gave me tons of comic relief and made proud of Bobby Big Fish’s deadpanned humor.

According to the UL media guide, CBM has one less than CJE.

Are we going to miss his wife lashing out at Cajuns fans on social media?

Wins are Measured vs the big boyz.

1 P5 win in 14 yrs against 14-19 Iowa is the best. If I recall correctly it was a neutral court win somewhere in the Caribbean. At the time, season was just getting started so it felt big time.....we didn't yet know Iowa sucked.

Also.....There was a Tulane win in New Orleans that had me fired up.

Bob Marlin’s biggest win…he is still coach at UL. And living rent free in a lot of minds.

Sometimes silence is golden. No change is coming apparently. Complaining only keeps CBM’s name out there and has zero impact. Otherwise, with the dwindling attendance numbers, who’s talking?

I forgot Hatfield’s tenure. He had zero NCAA appearances, but he righted the sunken ship and went to Moo State.

There has to be a big win in order to nominate one.
