He was replaced with a left handed hitting pinch hitter because of the matchup

And with Torres hitting a HR in his only AB last night, I’m pretty sure he’ll get the start behind the plate tonight, which may have been the case anyway.

What is Houston looking like on the mound? Starter? Deep bullpen? Cajuns starting Fluno - could be a Friday night guy at many schools. Cajuns are deep in the pen this year. Should be a low scoring game...

To be honest I’m not heavily invested in our baseball program. Our coach Whiting is similar to Marlin in that he had some earlier success but couldn’t get over the hump and is simply average today. Our hitting is mediocre and pitching a little better but somehow leaves a relief pitcher in for the 10th after giving up the tying run in the 9th. Only friends of the coach have hope for decency. There is some talent on the team but it has been a long time since we have had any success. Looks to be a long season from my limited knowledge.
