Hurts not coming away with at least one W from this weekend, especially with these types of games. But much to be encouraged about. Goodnight, work is going to suck.
11 games in and it looks like we know our weekend rotation. What we don’t know is who can hit. Most of the lineup would be better off leaving the bat on their shoulder hoping to draw a walk.
The bullpen was shaky this weekend after being our strong suit the first couple weeks.
When is Mason Zambo going to be a starter?
Agree. He needs to be DH as long as he continues to rake. Especially against right handed pitching. Gotta get him in the line-up... along with Lafleur.
What's depressing is that UH was out of pitching and all 3 outs in the final inning were strike-outs, 2 of which were looking.
Ugh. I was too tired to stay up for the end. It looks like we are close to being good, but have to figure out a way to win some of these. Disappointing to go 0-fer for the tournament.
Fell asleep after Houston started to hit up Moody. Really needed to salvage at least one. We were in every game. That’s good.
These early season tournaments haven’t been too kind to us. Round Rock was rough in 2022. I think we salvaged a game against Rice in like 16. Lost to Vandy and blew a save vs. Texas Tech.
