Is Fulks playing injured or something. He is not the same player. Just one assist and 7 turnovers tonight along with 3 points.

We are slumping . . . badly. Not fun. Holding out hope things can get going in the conference tournament.
He has not been the same player from last year. Can't beat anyone off the dribble which is where many of his turnovers come from. I'd have Thomas in there over him to be honest. In regards to Garnett, same thing. He's a set shooter and that's pretty much it. Teams know this and blanket him. I'd rotate him with Fields a lot more at this point but Marlin seems stuck in his ways.

Please get rid of this coach. This program needs a fresh start with a young energetic coach that will motivate the fans and team.
The effort is there. I've said this for a while but I think its the long minutes the starters play that have worn them down. No development of the bench although there appears to be some serviceable talent there. Oh well.

Got a 4 star coming next year. Need another one badly though especially if anyone leaves.

Yeah, this is where we really turn things around. Next year is the big year! LoL. I'm sorry, man. I'm beyond jaded at this point.

The difference between us and Troy was very obvious. In the half court we played what was on the surface the same offense as Troy. The BIG difference was that Troy was screening and cutting both on and away from the ball, constantly creating shot opportunities for two or more players, but we only screened on the ball, while everyone else basically took a spot on the three point line and just stood there. This has been a glaring weakness for every Marlin coached team.

Just an observation. Only P5 win was vs. a mediocre Iowa team, right.

Would it be fair to say that Rickey Bustle had better OOC wins in less years and less opportunities with a program that was not as highly funded in comparison to our peers? Maybe better wins overall. Kansas State (also mediocre) and Houston (went 10-4, won their conference and went to the Liberty bowl.)

Thomas has the ability to score and get his own shot. Garnett can't do that. He does play good defense, but scoring the ball seems like our biggest problem at this point in the season. Hardy and/or Fields should be seeing more time and starting rather coming off the bench.

How much did Fulks depend on Brown last year?

When he was creating his own play last year, he didn't have to worry about a defender coming off Brown to defend him.

Just wondering if this is a factor? Non factor?
