It's pretty pathetic. I used to be DIEHARD Cajun basketball. I had been hooked since a kid the 80's at Blackham when my dad used to take me to watch Dion Brown, Graylin Warner, Alonza Allen, Dan Gay, etc... When Cajun basketball loses me, it's horrible. I dropped (6) season tix a couple years ago... tickets which I held since my 2004 return to Lafayette. Been to about 2 games each of the last 2 years. Hard to watch sometimes.

BTW - that video of the crowd earlier in this thread "minutes before tipoff" is a little misleading as the teams aren't even out yet.... but still - it' bad. Very bad. Marlin can't recover from this.
I agree regarding the picture posted before the teams even came out before warmups. Not sure who can/ would show up that early for a weeknight game.

The actual crowd during the game was bad enough. No need to embellish it

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! THIS IS FUN, ISNT IT?!
"Marlin deserved an extension after last season" No.....no he didn't. You don't judge a coach on one season. He hasn't elevated the program. It's a dumpster fire right now. Let it burn for all I care. If they don't, I don't either.

Called it 2 years ago now football is heading down that same path.

I'm sure the admin is thinking the newly renovated OLOL Cajun Field will draw in the fans. Maybe curiosity at first... But that will fade and the product on the field will determine.

How's the CAJUNDOME doing after the big renovation several years ago???

Wait slapping a bandaid on something doesn't fix the root cause ?

The fact that this clown has been here 14 years and has done nothing and beat nobody and rakes in $650K-$750K per year is damn near criminal.

Pretty amazing. Not one win against a Top 25 team in 14 years. How many opportunities?

The refs hold us back every damn time. They continue to screw our program. Why can’t you MDS people recognize and acknowledge this fact?

How can he possibly succeed with all this negativity? Not to mention the altitude, the refs, we're every teams superbowl, the spring equinox, the price of rice in China......
