Just because it is a slightly unique design I never felt a connection as an identification to the fdl.

Oversaturation.

Well ever since 2000 and even earlier we used the FDL.

I personally think the FDL is the best symbol we have, we just have to make the connection that we are Louisiana.

I take FDL over the stacked Ragin Cajuns any day of the week.

Personally we need to make it way bigger on the state.

The FDL has been on the school seal since 1921 designed by Tulane.

Everyone in the state uses it, so I don't think its a differentiator. However when I draw a design I often include it but not because I'm a fan of over duplication.

I do like it as a pin location marker.

We are really the only one that uses the FDL basically any team out of NO and us.

Over saturation is a good thing specially when it comes to identifable symbols

We are basically taking two symbols that is popular with teams in the state and jamming it together.

To the other schools/teams that use one of these symbols “We Win, you Lose”

FDL says everything Louisiana, French Connection, Cajun French Culture, Acadiana etc.
