There are 278 division 1 softball teams. Going into today, the Cajuns are at #201 defensively. After today, they will probably drop further.

Cajuns are struggling on the defensive end and not getting clutch hits. Not a good combination. We need to get better or this could be a very disappointing season given the preseason hype. Still very early in the season so hopefully the kinks can be worked out.
