Former Cajun Tracy Walker was released by the Detroit Lions in what looks like a salary cap move. He had a nice 6 year run and made some money. Hopefully he is able to catch on with another team and continue his career.

NFL 6 yrs....I think he gets full pension income at like 55 or some such. As long as he managed his money smartly......he is set for life

He had one year remaining on a three-year, $25 million contract with a cap hit of $12,821,668 for next season. The Lions save $5.5 million in salary cap space with the move.
