I talked to someone with the construction company this morning and asked about a camera. He said they do have a camera and the feed is somewhere up in the cloud. They would rather have it live feed around the clock. It is the university’s preference to just show time laps every now and then when they feel the timing is appropriate.

Right now they are working on the foundation which is the hardest part of the project. Steel should be in around mid May and the erection should begin around then.

So the university would prefer that people who are interested in seeing what is going only have limited access? Shocking, I tell you, shocking.

Live cameras have been a tradition at Louisiana since at least the early 2000's

They even had them for implosions on campus.

They were there for the new turf install.

Keeps investors connected.

Some of us were taking photos early on. Guess they were hoping for a continuous fan based generic engagement.
