A lot of schools (including UL) now have the track-man technology available. And the umps are graded using it. Those higher pitches are strikes according to it so the umps will have to adjust

Yes, somewhat of an adjustment. Sportsfanatic21 explained the reasoning. It was definitely noticeable in the games I watched this weekend.

In related play, James Madison took Game 3 of the series at Arkansas ... winning 7-3 over the #3 Razorbacks. Another illustration of how difficult it can be to sweep. Even Marist got one at Southern Miss today.

The teams will play a fourth game on Monday.

Wright State will get a good Oklahoma team in Norman next weekend. OU won 2/3 this weekend, losing to Oregon 4-2, but beating Tennessee and Nebraska.
