We also get a winnable game against a P5 who is one of the more willing teams to
play at G5’s. It’s also in the heart of our eastern conference recruiting grounds. Maybe we can line up a series in baseball as well.

Maybe we'll even be conference mates in the not-too-distant future.

Makes a bit more sense now.

Early on an FOI request was suggested.

In the void of information imaginations run wild and are to be expected, and by any rational measure, they run the gamut.

Nice to see a bowtie on thisinformation.

Wonder if anyone in the Lafayette media even bothered to consider a FOI. I guess media in Michigan actually cares about the Michigan State program.

So Michigan state didn’t put anything out either.

Maybe it isn’t the norm for athletics departments to put statements out regarding such contracts, but people sure were quick to drag UL through the mud on this one.

The history of silence creates the mud.

It is super easy to dry up the moisture of inquiry.

Example: Marlin has a "75% winning percentage" followed by now going on years of silence creates mud puddles.

Do one need to do a FOI to know what WF is paying UL?

It’s out there. Think 1.1 mil, so UL grosses 1.7 on the entire deal.

Being MBB went up there a few years ago, UL has some connection there. I’d guess there was some agreement to let MSU announce or take heat. Being little brother to UM, they’re kinda like us.

Because media outlets starting reporting that WE were the ones who pulled out of the game, so it makes perfectly good sense for Cajun fans to ask what happened. And when there is complete silence, then yes, people get irritated.

Right….. especially when another article around the same time came out highlighting our budget deficit

Sometimes somethings are not meant to be made public. It’s not always your right to know
