It’s out there. Think 1.1 mil, so UL grosses 1.7 on the entire deal.

Being MBB went up there a few years ago, UL has some connection there. I’d guess there was some agreement to let MSU announce or take heat. Being little brother to UM, they’re kinda like us.

Because media outlets starting reporting that WE were the ones who pulled out of the game, so it makes perfectly good sense for Cajun fans to ask what happened. And when there is complete silence, then yes, people get irritated.

It was more along the lines of national articles stating that it was us who cancelled. It would’ve been nice for us to clarify that.

I mean...some of us just wanted to know what took place, and there being crickets this whole time was understandably frustrating.

In the end, I'm very pleased to know this is what actually happened.
