I was speaking specifically to the team wearing down at the end of the game. The altitude is an added factor. But we can blame that on the coach as well.

I’ll openly admit I was pretty critical of Coach Marlin’s “coach’s speak” during the 2019 season (“We are the standard,” “We lost because of Mardi Gras distractions,” etc.).

But this? Unacceptable. We barely get 1,000 to games anymore. The fanbase is at an all-time height of apathy. And now we have the families of coaches picking arguments with fans AKA paying customers. Not cool.

The “ Mental “ and maybe altitude did us in yesterday, it definitely wasn’t referees or coaching..

When we were focused and locked down on the fence, they couldn’t do anything against us except hit some really tough contested shots like the one before half time. I guarantee you we won’t hold them in Pensacola if we face them.

Marlin will have a solid game plan with a twist in the tournament. I’ll tell you this and people may not know it but Hosana is one of the best three point shooters on the team.

Look for him to take a few in the Tourney opening up the game for us in other areas

Should have been around for Fletcher’s wife. Even without social media back then, makes Mrs. Marlin look like Mother Superior. She got into it with enough fans on the east side of the CD, the teams were move to the west side so she would move too.

I think spouses and relatives of coaches need to just shut up. Critics come with the territory. Marty had a brand new building and guess what the attendance trend did over his tenure?
