Here's a thought. App is darn good, they are 13-0 at home this year. Not happy about losing, but at the same time, got to give credit. Maybe the best team UL played this year.
Cajuns forced a turnover after the timeout. That has happened often lately. That had nothing to do with outcome. This is a game which App won more than CAjuns lost. There is a difference. Mountaineers played an outstanding game in all aspects. Some of the shots Marsh hit could not have been guarded any better. They have a team capable of winning an NCAA tournament game.
I will not argue with that. Wonder if fatigue was factor as we did not go up strong enough near basket and did not finish at basket well late in game. Of course having bodies like Spiller and Absom bang on you will wear most teams down. Regardless the Cajuns are unlikely to win if Julien and Garnett both go 0 for 4 from three. Despite what many basketball “experts” say, the game often comes down to shot making.
