There is some discussion of this issue on Twitter started by a San Fransisco based writer. One of the posts states that people who have always been free don't understand protest by people who have not always been free. I responded by telling that person they obviously don't know the history of the Cajuns. Our ancestors were definitely not free when the British practiced ethnic cleansing of the French people in the Acadian area of Canada during the 1750's. Much of the reason for the displacement was that the French refused to stop practicing their Catholic faith. That person had no response to my post.
Very strange that a group so tethered to the 2nd Amendment does not seem to care about the 1st.
