Watching the replay, you'd think Dan MacDonald was a Cal announcer. It's frustrating.

This ought to be good, so I’ll play along. Please tell me how a Hall of Famer sounded like a Cal announcer.

He's a Hall of Fame sportswriter but far from a good announcer regardless. By the way, the Cal runner left early from 1st in the 8th, replay clearly showed it.

It was not clear … it was super close. I’m a Cajun fan and I couldn’t have overturned that in good conscience.

We have to do a better job at the dish against good pitchers. This is where Glasco teams have always struggled. We feast on average pitching. This is super early, so not worried at this time.

Great pitching beats great hitting more than great hitting beats great pitching. Just how baseball/softball usually goes. Gotta be able to play good defense and scratch in those runs in tight games.

We scored 5 runs on 9 hits in 5 innings against the same pitcher on Friday.

Today a lot of balls were hit right at people. It happens.

Dan McDonald is awful as a play by play announcer. He doesn’t know the game of baseball or softball. He may be a fantastic sportswriter, but that doesn’t exempt him from criticism in other areas.

I’m still dumbfounded how every ball hit is skied somewhere….

Lol. In baseball it’s “skied” or “lined”

    Softball it’s “skied” or “nubbed”

Seems most people would take that and be very successful if that was duplicated day in and day out

And every time there's a foul ball, she "juuust" got a piece of it.
