The Krewe Allons Kick Off Parade is tonight in Lafayette.

There is limited information online. Is this the first time having this and is it a full parade?

Edit: looks like it's taking the place of something else that was Friday night. Sounds good to me. Wear Red and be loud. I'm in

Thats cool. My niece is on the dance team that is how I know about the Jazz being there.

Very nice parade. The floats were upscale and double decked, good number of bands, and we recognized many of the UL athletes and coaches. Plenty of throws & not super crowded. MD threw us some beads!

Not super crowded. Sounds about right for an event involving UL athletics.

I caught some from Dr. Maggard.

There were somewhere between 10-12 main floats with mostly high school marching bands in between them . It was a nice parade

The sports in the parade were in their off seasons- no softball, baseball or basketball teams
