All student email accounts should be automatically added to the Louisiana athletics email newsletter (@go.ragincajuns.com). They can then opt out if they want. This takes MH involvement and approval though. Seems easy enough.

That would mean the administration would want the students to show up.

A for effort on Marlin's part but pretty weak message. Simply stating free red t-shirts alone won't move the needle. How about stating we need and want your support, come to the dome and enjoy great basketball? I get marketing isn't his strong point but it doesn't help when he's just starting to do it 13 years into his tenure.

This is an abject failure of epic proportions. The university gives everyone an email address. It should come automatically loaded to the athletic calendar.

And they wonder why RCAF is stuck at 2k.

Here's an idea that some universities embrace, alumni email addresses. For example, ragincajun77@alumni.louisiana.edu Get alumni to sign up and share university info/events.
