Which will probably still black you out for home games 300 miles out of market of your favorite MLB franchise.

Watch the oldest scam in the books "BAIT & SWITCH". They will sell you a package early about giving you access to all sports you are interested in watching. Then after you pay up, you will be informed of the fine print that spells out all the exclusions. Some of these can be added for extra fees and some will not be available at all.
This could start another Civil War.

This is what streaming has been about from the beginning. Lure them in. Close off their options. Gouge them.

I’ll be a “-“ at that rate. Trying to get my wife to cut the LUS cord but she’s not ready.

Back in the day, we had several different satellite/cable companies all competing for my money, all capable of offering custom packages. The return on my money was/is outstanding.

Who will compete with this monstrosity?

If the answer is nobody, we will all lose, badly.

Honestly, I'm not sure who can. Streaming services are all about luring people in with their "unique" content. At some point in the near future, streaming consumers will see the cost of become higher than being connected to the cord.

I think the place they are trying to get to is this: in a typical family scenario, the husband/boys shell out $125/month to watch sports. And the wife/girls want to watch other tv, so their also shelling out $100/month various streaming services or cable. And now everyone wins.
