According to the Cajundome Wikipedia site, the top 10 Cajuns MBB attended games in the Cajundome are listed below as a stark reminder of this program's potential again. Our leaders need to urgently paint a new vision for our MBB program. Where we are today isn't cutting it, demonstrates a lack of care by our leaders.

Top 10 sports crowds at the Cajundome
    11,479 vs. Loyola Marymount (12/16/92)

That has been my point, this has been a slow motion train wreck, with many hands along the way that failed to act. I'm not absolving the current regime, however, it was plunging long before he even arrived. Headed into 30th year of meh.

Bunch of Tim Floyd, Hugh Durham and John Calipari coached teams there, and Loyola Marymount just two years after the Hank Gathers-Bo Kimble team.

You won't see teams like this on our home schedule now. Some of that isn't even the coach's fault.

If Louisiana made it a habit of hitting the road vs high caliber teams, you would see high calibre teams visit the CajunDome.

Without a guaranteed boost to their RPI, they will never visit again.

It will take years to establish that reputation.

I feel your concern and pain. Unfortunately as long as Marlin is the head coach, Cajun fans will not go to the games. Who the hell wants to waste their time and money on athletic teams that are average or play Loyola of New Orleans and others just like them for home games ?? This is a huge problem!!

Every coach you cited UL playing was last century. Put that in perspective.
