……Minn coach says that he is definitely a Big 10 QB after our game…. Wisconsin coach says the value of a big1o QB is about $1-$2 mill……makes you wonder!

Minn is a great example. Minn has lost THREE QBs to portal.THREE. I believe that includes their starter (Cant swear to this) If he truly believes his words and it is not "coach talk" about an opponent (coaches never do that.ever). Wouldnt be at the minimum be heavily recruited by Minn?

ZC could one day be a franchise QB. He left way too soon. Unless you have an endowment of $50+ billion(UT Austin) You don't give away a million unless it's a lock he is better than your current QB or any other available QBs you rate higher in the portal. 247 has 39 rated higher than ZC as of this am.

In another thread I mentioned about we are all using information to support our beliefs. This recruiting class is a perfect example:

Doom and Gloomers = We are 12th in the SBC in recruiting rankings, we are terrible at recruiting.

Sunshine Pumpers = We are 2nd in the SBC average recruit rankings. We are recruiting better talent than the rest of league.

    The facts:

    1. We have the 2nd fewest commits so far at 13.
    2. The overall rankings is simple math of the # of recruits multiplied by the average rankings to get to total points.
    3. We absolutely celebrated when we had #1 recruiting classes under Napier.
    4. Troy is #1 in average ranking per player, but 10th in SBC in overall rankings.

Nobody here knows how many scholarships were projected as normal attrition. Add to that those that won’t be invited back, and finally lost to the transfer portal that we wanted to keep. Clearly a lot of speculation.

He could be a transfer but looks like a HS kid. Is there a window with ESP?

Surprises? Since we haven’t heard much.

Just saw on X that the following has committed as of today.

    Bradley Wright (WR) CHBR
    Ja’Corian Norris (WR) Tioga

Both these kids looked to have limited offers from G5 programs so I’m assuming it’s a PWO, but I could be mistaken.

I saw this morning that former long time commit Luke Wisham is now committed to LA Tech. I figured he was going to Houston or TCU

Very interesting. Sunny at LaTech has put together an impressive class this year. Mainly from the portal but Wisham is one I would have like to have kept.

Bradley Wright’s brother Brooks Wright signed with our baseball team. Them and QB Daniel Beale were a nice trio
