Big crowd if the right team. But I’m with you. History absolutely forgotten when UL started playing McNeese in FB. Never forget 1984. Never.

Play the SBC schedule. Play all other games against P5 away opponents. Bank the guaranteed money and don’t worry about playing in a meaningless bowl game, which the university will lose money on again.

Sorry, but that is an important game for many reasons.

    - It is a much needed tune up game
    - It is a virtually guaranteed win that counts towards bowl eligibility
    - It is a chance to build community with in state programs. That kind of stuff pays off in Baton Rouge.
    - It allows us to tap into the Southern/Grambling fan bases. Gameday revenues.

I hope to profit off of ULM tonight.

Liberty just proved you don’t need to beat a p5 to get to the playoff. You can have the worst schedule in the country. If you win all your games you have a 99.9% chance. Because most years there won’t be another undefeated g5. SMU is out and the rest of the top G5’s already moved up.

We are so fricken worried about what happens in Baton Rouge. We are already hated by every single institution in this state.

It’s time to embrace being the heel. We do not need any instate FCS program. Absolutely every single one would stab us in the back.

Agree about Florida St, but it's a lot different when you kept your players for 4-5 years.
