Not to be that guy.... but a lot of these "Mexican" restaurants aren't Mexican. A lot of it is more Central American than Mexican. Nothing wrong with that at all. Even when you are talking Mexican there are massive differences in the regions. It's no different than what we have here in the U.S. Our food in South Louisiana is completely different than what you would expect in the midwest.
Point being is that much of the discussion is being labeled "Mexican" is about equal to labeling it "American". Truth be told I'm not sure there is a good "interior" Mexican restaurant in Lafayette. TexMex sure, Central American yes, Fusion...no doubt.
Gotta love the food threads.
I don’t get the love for Superior. Maybe after a few Margarita’s anything taste good, but I have eaten in BR, New Orleans and Shreveport and it’s meh.
